چکیده

Quinoa is renowned for its nutritional value and ability to withstand harsh environmental conditions such as salinity. In the present work, we isolated 34 phosphate solubilizing endophytic bacteria associated with roots of quinoa plants. Based on solubilization efficiency biochemical characterization, selected one isolate named ED1. Ribotyping using partial 16S RNA gene analysis revealed that shares 99.7% identity Serratia rubidaea. Plant growth promoting (PGP) studies showed ED1 strain solubilized complexed forms (Ca3(PO4)2). Zinc release from ZnO, Zn3(PO4)2, or ZnCO3 efficient ZnO by strain. Except proteases, produced siderophores, cellulase, ammonia exhibited oligonitrophilic features. Indole acetic acid (IAA) production was detected without L-tryptophan precursor. Next, demonstrated tolerated 1.5 M NaCl final concentration intrinsic resistance seven antibiotics frequently prescribed medical use. Moreover, found withstood 2 mg/L Cadmium 1 either Nickel Copper. Furthermore, observed S. rubidaea stimulated seeds germination seedlings under salt stress conditions. Lastly, discuss advantages versus disadvantages applying a beneficial agent salty and/or heavy metals contaminated soils.

Phosphate solubilization by endophytic bacteria isolated from banana trees.

Forty isolates of endophytic bacteria isolated from banana tree roots were assessed as to their capacity to solubilize phosphate in a solid culture medium supplemented with different inorganic and one organic source of phosphorus. The amount of phosphorus (P) in each liquid medium was quantified, and an indirect assessment of acid phosphatase activity was performed. All assays had a fully rando...

Phosphate enhances levan production in the endophytic bacterium Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus Pal5.

Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus is a gram-negative and endophytic nitrogen-fixing bacterium that has several beneficial effects in host plants; thus, utilization of this bacterium as a biofertilizer in agriculture may be possible. G. diazotrophicus synthesizes levan, a D-fructofuranosyl polymer with β-(2→6) linkages, as an exopolysaccharide and the synthesized levan improves the stress toleran...

Investigation of Lipase Production by Milk Isolate Serratia rubidaea

Production of extracellular lipase in submerged culture of Serratia rubidaea has been investigated. The lipase production was optimized in shake flask experiments. The observed pH and temperature range optimum for maximum lipase production were 7–8 and 30–40 °C, respectively. With a selected nitrogen source, casein ((6.5±0.015) U/mL) and soytone ((9.4±0.02) U/mL) were suitable substrates for ac...

Serratia rubidaea isolated from a silastic foam dressing.

A pigment-producing strain of Serratia rubidaea was isolated from two consecutive cultures from a sponge of silastic foam used as a dressing for chronic crural ulcers. The bacterium caused a red discolouration of the sponge and the surrounding part of the leg. The silastic sponge creates a new type of environment for microorganisms. The growth of previously rare bacteria such as S. rubidaea may...

Solubilization of Inorganic Phosphate by Endophytic Pseudomonas sp. from French Bean Nodules

Phosphorus (P) is one of the major essential macronutrient for plant growth. Phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PCB) is a group of heterotrophic bacteria capable of solubilizing organic and inorganic phosphorus from insoluble compounds, releasing phosphate available for plant uptake. In this study endophytic bacteria were isolated form nodules of French bean grown in different intercropping syste...
